Stuart FL Offshore Sailfish Report - St. Lucie Inlet Sailfish Fishing Report
Report Date: October 12, 2010
Stuart, Florida - Sailfish & Dolphin Turn On
The sea conditions, again this week, are perfect for fishing off Stuart's St. lucie Inlet. Hitting both live bait and dead ballyhoo, most sailfish catches are coming out of 100 to 120 feet. As we move into the fall/winter season more sailfish will be moving south looking for warmer waters. October brings excellent sailfish and dolphin fishing.
Dolphin are arriving in good numbers and are being taken with trolled ballyhoo, mainly off the edge of the gulfstream in 200 to 300 feet of water, but also in 60 to 100 feet with trolled ballyhoo and drifting live bait around the Push Button Hill area and south toward the Loran Tower. Some of the best action right now are the schools of dolphin following the reef lines.
Sailfish, Kingfish, Bonita, Tuna and Wahoo - they are here now! The weather looks great, so get out on the water. Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish and Bonito should be feeding on the bait fish stacked up along the edge of the gulf stream. The heavy dolphin migration should be in full swing any time now and that should product hot action here and in The Bahamas.
If Wahoo fishing is your thing, we have a two month window of opportunity to target those hard fighting, good eating, speedsters.
Plenty of dates are available to get you out there for a fish of a life time. Feel free to give us a call anytime if its to book a trip or even just to get a Stuart Florida area fishing report.
The adventure begins anew. Let's go fishing.
